Ashwagandha Smoothie

  • 2 teaspoons Ashwagandha powder

  • 2 oz nut butter

  • 1 teaspoon cocoa

  • 2 figs

  • 1 banana frozen instead of ice

1. A 2012 study shows ashwagandha’s effectiveness on stress reduction.

2. Another study result released in 1980 shows that ashwagandha improved red blood cells.

3. A 2015 study done using the herb on 57 men for muscle strength and recovery, found that its effectiveness on both matters to be greater than with no use.

Tips

Best consumed as a tincture, decoction or capsules. Avoid this herb if you have iron issues and if you have a thyroid condition!!! Consult your healthcare practitioner before use, especially during pregnancy!
